The Heru-IB Story...
The Middle Egyptian words Heru-IB mean Quiet/Peaceful/or Satisfied Heart. There was a Pharaoh in the 14th Dynasty, 3,600 years ago, who took the name Heru-IB RE as his throne name. He meant it to mean Happy Heart of RE.
My teachings are dedicated to that Pharaoh whose name I received in meditation, and whose existence I was able to document from the Turin Papyrus Dynasty List.
Quiet Heart has evolved from my work as a therapist and energy healer. I am gifted with a musician's ear for harmony, and a healer's sense of energy fields around people.
When I work in my capacity as a dream therapist, I know when the work is complete because the voice becomes balanced and the aura around the person is clear and quiet.
When I first learned to do healing work and long before I was Reiki attuned, when I touched people with both hands, I noticed a pulse in each hand. If I waited long enough the two pulses evened out, and I intuitively knew the work of balancing the area of the body was complete.
When I began teaching Reiki, my two Great Egyptian Teachers gave me the Heru-IB™ symbol. I was to pass that symbol to my Reiki students as a protection and as the signature of the Reiki attunement I pass to my students.
